Blogs, blogs and more blogs.

Updated my Recommended Blogs list for you, my imaginary readers. I thought, since I'm getting back to scratching the writing itch, I owe it to my fictional readers to at least keep my blog updated and tidy. I discovered that some blogs I previously recommended are now defunct or, as lawyers (and certain weird cults) would put it, functus oficio (it may sound like some fungal infection and you might probably be right, but that would mean, in a word, kaput).

Anyway, for those lazy ass bastards who can't be bothered to scroll down -- or even those who don't care at all -- here are my updated recommended blogs:

Et_in_aracadia2_screen_cap 1. Et in Arcadia Ego - a brilliant, funny, witty amalgamation of philosophy, entertainment and the law (not necessarily in that order and most of the time sans the last part), this blog obviously emanates from a brilliant, funny, witty mind steeped in philosophy, entertainment and the law. Oh, yeah, I said that already. Anyway, it's my other blog, only it's in blogspot/blogger so, technically, it's a different blog.

2. Motel de Moka - a very nice, sexy music blog that's powered by very hip and sensual minds. Motel_de_moka_screen_cap The blog allows you to listen to the music featured in posts by obviously talented and discerning individuals. Ambiance, man, that's what they've got. (Hindi ko alam kung saan nabibili yung ambiance.)

3. Faith of a Centurion - Father JBoy's blogspot blog! Kape't Pandasal! To balance my seemingly mundane and ephemeral tastes in blogs, here's my favorite priest's cool blog. Faith_of_a_centurion_screen_cap This is where, after going over the other blogs that feature things I'm sure Father JBoy will frown on (actually, I'm sure he won't because he's one of the most open-minded person I know), I go to find refuge and cleanse myself from web-sin. Wisdom abound where elsewhere is absent.

To be continued ......

Just Joost.

Freshorangejuice Drink up.

If you haven't already, try to diddle with Joost -- the new on demand free TV service that capitalizes on the P2P structure. I became interested in it since I've always shunned the way TV is being delivered to us, not to mention the content imposed on us, and I have been looking for alternatives. Joost just might suffice.

It has been out of the invite only stage and is now made open to the public so none of that "exclusive"-bull excrement to prevent us from tinkering with it.Joost_start

Initial reaction: the quality of the video and the amount of computer resources and bandwidth eaten up aside, Joost looks promising to say the least.

Go ahead, have some Joost. Download link here.

And ..... we're back!

Yep, we're back on air. We thought we've lost the signal but, well, as they say: nobody can stop the signal. What? Who are "they"? Hell, I don't know. They. You know, somebody. The important thing is .... what? What do I mean "we"? Oh that. I was referring to, um, you know me and uh, well ... my imaginary friends I guess. Anyway, what I'm trying to tell you folks is that I'm back with the itch to write me thoughts and impose them on you (yes, you my imaginary reader/s) and .... eh? I sound dazed? And confused? He he, right ... right, I was about to get into that. Just let me get my bong.

The_big_lebowski2 Seriously people, it has been a while and I felt like writing again. The stimulus that has caused the above paragraph is my recent exposure to what some has referred to as guy films -- Dazed and Confused, The Big Lebowski might explain the babbling above. So that's a hint on what's to come: a look at so called guy films and perhaps my recommendations as well.

So sit tight and run for your lives because "I'll be back."Terminator
